bought this not only as a toy, but to go along with his Halloween costume of Captain Rex. for the costume is a great match as it matches the cartoon look. He loves them and "darts" go far enough to be funny but are soft enough where it doesn't hurt anyone else. It's great there are slots on the bottom of the barrel to keep 2 darts and the third at the front.
